My phone is doing the same. It would only let me access text or calls for a few seconds (20 secs tops) and then shut down and turn on again. It would display emergency calls only and then continue as normal. I've left it untouched and its still doing the same. Repeating the same even when not in use.

I have the same problem with my phone, I could leave it for as long as the battery could last and it would still be restarting to the LG screen over and over again. This is really annoying. I have also had a previous problem with the texts: they don't appear when opened, I only bought my phone 5/6 months ago and it's already got serious software problems.

pliz remove the cmos bat and keep it for 5 or more minutes dis assemble ur cpu and re assamble it and try, if the problem still occurs then go to the nearest dealer.
it looks like the phone needs resetting, in reseting the phone, you may loose data, so better if you have them backed up first.
restart the phone, from the standby screen type in:
2945#*# and select option 6 (reset) from the menu.
The phone will restart and after about a minute you'll be working again. Make a note of the code, because you'll be needing it every few months.
I dont know why, but one time my truck was low on trans fluid and after I topped it off, it didnt stall anymore when put into gear. as fro the odometer i dont know, it may have to go out completely before any diagnosis can be done.
ugh same probleme but i cant even txt like everytime i shut it off again it just keeps doing the same thing. BUT untill you take it in to a store to get fixed use abc and DONT push the #(space) button....cause thats what frezzes it. right now i just use dots for spaces lol.. apparently You need to get your phone formatted and software reinstalled thats what someone told me. so just bring it in to a store
First you have a bad port on computer you probably need to plug your cable in the back of the computer. If you keep letting your ipod freeze like that your going to seriously mess it up. I'm going to teach you a way to fix your problem with freezing. the next time your ipod freezes hold the "MENU" and "CENTER" button at the same time. I had a similar problem, the middle cylinders- both compression was low. The Expert Mechanic told me that the valves have to be replaced. So the Head was opened and the valves were checked and they wer allright. The the Head was machined, and the PISTON rings were replaced. Now the vehicle runs good. This might help.
So when you get to replace the valves, be ready for the pistons/ or piston rings. cost about 600 dollars in all.
well first visually inspect the vacuum lines. any rubber hosee under the hood. looking for cracks holes inspect completley. if the hoses look good . next check the pcv valve . let me know if you dont know how to check a pcv valve. if it isnt these things it is probably a sensor and you shold get a diagnostics scan.
The only thing that i can think of that would help would be to restore your iPod through iTunes. One of the updates might have gotten corrupted. Also, does it only freeze on certain songs or does it just freeze randomly?

Oh in addition. I sent 6 text messages the morning this problem started. It said it had sent it but it was never received.
