When you replace developer, make sure to clean the waste toner path on the PCU. Waste toner in combination with new developer causes trouble. After replacement of the developer use a piece of paper to block waste toner from falling into the DV-Unit. Then run SP2-801 and do process control.
Then make 100 copies and after that remove the piece of paper. A Ricoh tech told me that the amount of toner in the developer can be very high, so he always made 100 copies before removing the piece of paper. I'm doing this for a long time and I never had trouble with SC's related to TD-sensor.
TheVt value of the blackTDsensor exceeds the specified value (default: 4.7V) with SP3020-002 for twenty counts.
The[Vt-Vtref]value of the black TD sensor exceeds the specified value (default: 5.0V) with SP3020-001.
Push the decal (three green lines) attached to the lever using your finger, for all four PCDUs.
Check the pentagon-shaped window for all four colors. If you can see a red area, as shown in the "Incorrect" photo below, this means the unit was not installed correctly.
Make sure that the white locking tab on the PDCU (circled in red below) is inside the hole of the bracket. Do this for all four PDCUs.
sc360 is a hard drive detection error. The hard drive might be either defective or disconnected, or one of the connectors might be loose. If you know the hard drive is good, check its power and data cables and connectors. In rare cases, this error can point to a faulty BICU board.
sc990 is a general software error. This error is often logged in conjunction with other errors, and may not necessarily represent a separate problem.
Your best bet is to check the hard drive first -- maybe try formatting it or replacing it if you have an extra one. Good luck!
The SC360 is Hard disk drive error 1. This means that the machine does not detect the connection signal from the HDD.
CHECK THESE; poor connection between the HDD and the HDD controller, the AC power connector to the HDD is disconnected, HDD defective, HDD controller board defective, BICU defective. Make sure all connections are tight and secure, make sure power is connected securely, make sure HDD ( hard drive) is not bad if so replace. If the above are fine, replace the controller board and if the problem is still there, replace the BICU board.
I do not recognize either of these codes (187 or 387) as part of the Aficio 2015 error list.
If the code is displayed on the screen, physically TURN OFF the copier with the main switch (red switch), wait 10 seconds and turn it back on. If it's an erroneous error, this should reset the error code. NOTE: THE ERROR CODE MUST BE DISPLAYED FOR THIS TO WORK.
