I am trying to download pics to computer i have already downloded software etc and have successfully downloaded other pics from cam since i have added a memory card when I plug cable to download into computer and then plug in cam to computerinstead on downloading pics the light just keeps blinking like its charging or something

i think your memory of ur camera is already virux because his not read the computer ! i think go to the tech or other friendx to know how to remove the virux of your memory of your camera :D i hope atleast i can i help u ! :D

Google Picasa3 and download the free software. It does recognize previously downloaded pics and does lots of other really fun things too. You'll love it.

My camera ( Sony Cyber Shot W 30's memory stick is not working and i am unable to dowload pictures from my camera on to my laptop. My laptop's OS is Windows Vista.

Please let me know how could I go about downloading pictures from my camera to my laptop.

Pecasa is a great free software. Try it.

You do not need cameras software to download pics from your camera, btw. Just plug in your camera to USB port and it shows as an external DRIVE or USB STORAGE device in your MYCOMPUTER folder. Just click on its drive letter and you are looking at your cameras memory.

Click on the folder called DCIM and then subfolder(s) named depending on camera model. For Panasonic it is 100_PANA for example. Click on this and here is your pics. View, Drag and Drop, Delete, etc any pic just as if it was already on your computer.

To down load all pics, Drag and Drop (or cut and paste)the whole pic folder (100_PANA for example) to a location on your computer, as \Documents\Pictures. To delete all pics on camera, right click on pics folder and delete 100_PANA folder. or folder where your pics show up on your camera.

try to use the software Picasa2 which you can download form the internet. this software is free and very easy to use. it is specifically for pictures and videos. use this to get those pics from your cam

I had the same problem with my PC-CAM 600. I went to the OEM site. Downloaded drivers and re-installed them. Try and see if solves your problem.
