IT COULD BE LOTS OF THINGS WRONG. RAD COULD BE STOP UP, BAD RAD. CAP..
A LEAK IN THE RAD. SYSTEM. LOOK FOR WATER LEAKS. RUN YOUR CAR UNTILL IT IS HOT THEN FEEL THE RADATOR ON THE INSIDE AT THE BOTTOM IF IT IS COLD THE RAD. IS STOP UP... CHECK THE FAN CLUTCH MAKE SURE IT IS WORKING .......
CHECK FOR WATER PUMP LEAK TOO.......

Why is my 2008 Range Rover overheating still

Usually people check everything, change the thermostat and forget to check if the cooling fans work? The other possibility is that the water pump is failing.

The simplest thing would be if there is a big air lock in the system and the water isn't circulating properly. No heat coming out of vents is a symptom of that because the heater core is high up in the system behind the dash. Read this Tip I wrote. Raising the front of the vehicle is important to fill the heater core as well as putting heating on MAX.

Coolant is the heat carrier to heater core.
