Question about Hitachi 53UWX10B 53" Rear Projection Television
Hi, My 53WUX10BA is experiencing the same issue with, no power/sound with Power light on. I had the convergence board replaced about a year ago. I will replace both relays, but cannot find E907. Is it on the power supply board, convergence board, center board or far left board when looking from the back of the unit? When the power is on there is one led DP23 on the center board witch is not on, could this be of any indication as to which relay/pico fuse to replace?
I am a technician, but have no schematics for this unit and cannot get any as I am not Hitachi certified.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi, this is Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. It sounds like you are experiencing a power issue with your Dish network VIP622 DVR. You can try resetting the Receiver box by unplugging it for 10 seconds (if it is plugged into a surge protector, for the purpose of troubleshooting, plug directly into a wall outlet). Wait for receiver to reacquire satellite signal. If you are still having an issue, you will need to contact Dish Network because the receiver box will probably need to be replaced. I hope this information helps you.

Could not find E907. I looked at the circuit involving DP23 and found that FP05 (3amp) is open on the DP1X Deflection board (right in the middle of the board).
I will test everything in this circuit and replace FP05 if everything else is ok.
I replaced FP05. Now the bord flashes led DP23 and DP35 and keeps beeping. Also RP24 is smoking and getting black. Also I marked the three high power red cables that goes from the lamps to the HV but did not mark witch ones went on the HV. There are three of them. Does it matter wich one goes where? As well to make things worse, I broke the steel connector inside the HV whe pulling on the cable. can I remove it, or do I need to purchase a whole new HV (labled TH01).
I hope things go better.
I was able to remove the steel cap from the HV and clipped the cable and resoldered thew cap on. the Service document does not show wich red cable goes to the HV. This is only high power right? so does it matter wich one goes to one or the other?
thanks
I found my awnser on the delfection page 2 of 2. They are all connected in parallel to TH01, so it does not matter wich one goes where. Still need to find what short is causing RP24 to glow orange. it's a .47ohm so it need quite a bit of current to get this hot.
Making some progress, Isolated short into two lines on the deflection board 1/2 , B+ 115 V1 or B+ 115 V2. I will remove KG02 to try to isolate witch one tonight.
I have a Hitachi 53UWX10B projection color TV. When I turn on the TV, the power LED flashes but no power, no sound. I have tried un-plug the power cord for a few min and re-plug it in, it still does the same thing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
