We recently received new toner for our AR-5320. The toner cartrigde is a AR-016TD. It has difficulty fitting into the machine. I can get it to fit sometimes but not always. I even turned the white gears on the ends in hope that the teeth in the gear not lining up was our problem. I was able to get the blinking CH to stop when doing this. We recently had a power surge and the blinking CH is back. I've tried everything I did before to make it go away but it is still blinking. I don't think these new cartidges fit very well as they are shaped slightly different. I am able to get the cartridge to insert all the way...at least it appears so. I've opened and closed all the doors on numberous occations with no luck. I am in a remote area of Afghanistan so no hope in getting a repairman out our way anytime soon. Please help.

Developper not installed: check wires, contacts, lever
Only advice I can give is to have both cartridges side by side and see what the differences are. If it's the gears un the back of the toner cartridges can you swap them ? protruding piece of plastic, break it ? Otherwise call the supplier and see what they say, a lot of times they already know the problem and can help.
Good Luck.

I realize the Blinking CH means the DV is not installed correctly but ours is...is there any other troubleshooting for this error. These new AR-016Td toner cartidges aren't helping matters.
