The main reason for this problem is because of the ear piece. The ear piece is something you keep close to your ears while making calls. The speaker is an alternate way to listen music or to listen the caller loud or for ring tone.
Check your ear piece. Either it would have damaged due to water or would have lost the connection to the circuitry.
Hi, what makes it when disconnected to ear piece. When ear piece is not in my ear, you can not hear the phone ring is because the ringer of the phone that makes you know when there is an incoming call on your cell phone or a message alert tone on your cell phone is damaged and does not work and makes sound to notify you .
The ringer is a tiny speaker inside the cell phone that allows you to hear incoming call from your cell phone You will need to replace the ringer inside the cell phone ....
When you replace with another ringer (speaker inside the cell phone),phone will be Ok again.
Would advice that you contact an expert in phone repairs for asistance,that will do you good to prevent more damaged on the phone...

My problem is,that i can make a call using my ear piece,but not sure on how to receive a call via ear piece.If i just answear via Mobile, can only hear through phone.Wish i didn't mislay my handbooks.

hi im josh in cebu phils. if you ear piece wont work. friend it is a very simple problem the most reason why ear piece wont work is due to lost connections and covered with dust. try to clean and tighten the connections of the earpeice so that it will work. good luck.please vote me so that i wl know if i helped you.
You will need to pair it with your phone. first make sure the headset is off, then put the headset in pairing mode by pressing and holding the answer/end button until a solid blue light appears. then you will need to goto your cell phones bluetooth menu, turn your bluetooth on, then in your bluetooth menu you will need to add a new device or discover a new device depending on the type of cell phone you have. Your phone should find the jabra ear piece if it's in range of your cell phone and will ask if you want to pair with the device, after accepting confirm with the pin of 4 zero's.
