F Active Standby is activated on your Cell, your WLAN connection status is always visible from standby mode. The bottom line of the screen shows your WLAN status. If there are no wireless networks in the area, you'll see the message 'No WLAN network found'. If you're near a WLAN that you're not connected to, you'll see the message 'WLAN name found'.

To log on to this network, simply highlight the WLAN status line and press the centre selection key. You'll see three options:

  • Start Web browsing
  • Search for WLAN
  • Switch WLAN scan off

If the WLAN has detected then cell will open, unprotected network (and needs no passcode to access) then simply highlight Start Web browsing and press the centre selection key to go to your Bookmarks page and start browsing the web.
Hope this helps

How do we get free internet on a pc?

Short answer: There is no free internet.

If you have a smart phone with an internet connection and wi-fi hotspot capability, you can use your phone as a tether device to connect using wi-fi. If your PC does not have wi-fi capability you will need to purchase either a USB wi-fi adapter or peripheral card for under $20. Make sure you have a data-plan on your phone that would support your usage.

Otherwise, you'll have to camp outside of a Starbucks or other establishment providing free wi-fi services.

Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again. Verify that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router or base station. Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on. Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet. Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware.

C an not buy muisic, they said, i'm not connect to the internet

Hello,

You have to ocnnect your iphone to internet first , Follow below step to connect to internet

When you use any Internet enabled application, iPhone does the following in order until connected:
  1. Connects over the last Wi-Fi network you used that's available.
  2. If no Wi-Fi networks you've used are available, shows a list of Wi-Fi networks in range. Tap a network and, if necessary, enter the password to join. Networks that require a password show ht1695_1.jpg next to them.
  3. If no Wi-Fi networks are available or you choose not to join any, iPhone connects over the cellular data network.
Note: You can be on a call and use Wi-Fi or 3G1 at the same time. Other cellular data networks are unavailable while you're on a call.
Wi-Fi
  • Wi-Fi is often faster than cellular data networks. Wi-Fi networks cover limited areas. iPhone can join AirPort and other Wi-Fi networks at home, at work, or at Wi-Fi hot spots around the world.
When iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi icon ht1695_2b.jpg in the status bar at the top of the screen shows connection strength. The more bars you see, the stronger the connection.
  • To see all the Wi-Fi networks in range, from the Home screen choose Settings > Wi-Fi. Tap a network to join it.
  • Many Wi-Fi networks can be used free of charge, and some require a fee. To join a Wi-Fi network at a hot spot where charges apply, in most cases you can open Safari to see a webpage that allows you to sign up for service.
For information about configuring Wi-Fi settings, see the "Wi-Fi" section of the iPhone User's Guide.
Note: iOS devices sold in China may use the term Wireless LAN (WLAN) instead of Wi-Fi. Not all China iPhone models support WLAN; see this article for more information.
Cellular data networks
  • Cellular data networks allow Internet connectivity over the cellular network. Check your carrier's network coverage in your area for availability.
You can tell iPhone is connected to the Internet over a cellular data network if you see ht1695_utms_onb.png,ht1695_3b.jpg or ht1695_gprs_onb.png in the status bar at the top of the screen.
If you're outside your carrier's network, you may be able to use a cellular data network from another carrier. Roaming charges may apply.
Note: If not on 3G, while iPhone is actively transferring data over the cellular data network-downloading a webpage, for example-you may not be able to receive calls. Incoming calls may go to voicemail.
I hope , after this , you will be able to connect to Internet....

Thanks
Sandeep

The router is blinking a yellow light

Here are some of the more common reasons that the status light may blink amber:
  • The Wi-Fi base station has not yet been configured because it is new.
  • The Wi-Fi base station has been reset.
  • A new firmware update is available for the Wi-Fi base station.
  • No IP address is available for the Wi-Fi base station.
  • A Wi-Fi base station in Extended Mode is out-of-network Wi-Fi range of a primary Wi-Fi base station.
  • The WAN Ethernet cable is unplugged from the Wi-Fi base station.
  • The Wi-Fi base station lacks a path to the Internet (or local router).
  • Internet access may be temporarily unavailable from your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
  • Your AirPort Time Capsule has detected that the internal hard drive has reported a SMART error, and is failing (This requires firmware 7.5.2, and AirPort Utility 5.5.2).

What is wi fi whats does it do

Hi,

Wi-Fi stands for wireless fidelity. The term Wi-Fi, which is alternatively pushed by the Wi-Fi Alliance, a trade group that pioneered commercialization of the technology. Wi-Fi is mostly about connecting to the Internet without physically attaching your computer to anything. Mostly it's about using laptop computers.

A Wi-Fi enabled device such as a personal computer, video game console, mobile phone, MP3 player or personal digital assistant can connect to the Internet when within range of a wireless network connected to the Internet. The coverage of one or more (interconnected) access points — called a hotspot — can comprise an area as small as a few rooms or as large as many square miles. Coverage in the larger area may depend on a group of access points with overlapping coverage. Wi-Fi technology has been used in wireless mesh networks, for example, in London.

In addition to private use in homes and offices, Wi-Fi can provide public access at Wi-Fi hotspots provided either free-of-charge or to subscribers to various commercial services. Organizations and businesses - such as those running airports, hotels and restaurants - often provide free-use hotspots to attract or assist clients. Enthusiasts or authorities who wish to provide services or even to promote business in selected areas sometimes provide free Wi-Fi access.
Routers that incorporate a digital subscriber line modem or a cable modem and a Wi-Fi access point, often set up in homes and other premises, can provide Internet-access and internetworking to all devices connected (wirelessly or by cable) to them. One can also connect Wi-Fi devices in ad-hoc mode for client-to-client connections without a router. Wi-Fi also enables places that would traditionally not have network access to connect, for example bathrooms, kitchens and garden sheds.

Good luck and have a nice day.
rating the solution is highly appreciated.
