To calculate your enclosure's air volume in cubic feet, measure the height, width and depth of the inside space of your enclosure, in inches, and multiply.( Example: 18 inches high x 16 inches wide x 14 inches deep = 4,032 cubic inches. Next, divide this product by 1,728 (the number of cubic inches in a cubic foot). Example: 4,032 / 1,728 = 2.33 cubic feet. The air space/volume of this enclosure is 2.33 cubic feet.) this way you can build anybox needed. Hope this helps.

My kicker 12 inch cvr's arent hitting as hard as they should

amps and wiring kits are very optimistic on the output. If you want proper wire, buy some welding cable "0" or "00" guage. That solves the power delivery. Put a 1 Farrad (or more) capacitor near the amp, that solves the surge power issue. Make sure the box is suitable for the subs. Lastly I'd say do some research and find the right amp that can deliver the clean, huge current required to move some serious air!

2 kicker cvr 12's in prewired kicker box with 1 wire terminal, kicker cx1200.1 amp. Whats the best way to wire this combo?

Well you really can't run both speakers on one term. because you will over heat the amp , unless your amp is rated at twice the capability of your subs , Then if so , Try positive to one sub , then neg. to the other sub , then bridge the remaining positive to the remaining negative terminal , But it is really best to get a two channel amp for your subs !!!

What's the best way to wire a 12 inch kicker CVR

Ok, first you need to have at least ten gauge wire cause the amp needs agility of juice. Next you want to find a good ground to frame of the car (if its wrong you'll hear road noise through speaker.) Next look on the fire wall and find the terminal that has other wire coming to it (one from positive to the amplifier on battery the rest out top other you want to put an inline fuse to amp.and have ground write other side of the cart than the power. run write to amp then to your speaker I believe I made it is simple for you as possible good luck

Kicker cvr 12 sounds clangy at high volume. its on the right speaker. seems to go away when you push on the back of the box

Hmmm... well there could be an air leak in your box, something hitting the suspension inside the box like a broken tensil lead or most likely you have a voice coil that's getting ready to **** out. I've heard this many many times and usually that's what it is but I've been suprised by a broken tinsel lead a time or two.

What is the best box to get for a pair of cvr 12 for my yukon

If it is an open air sub ( hole with mesh in the center of the magnet) no ports are required, and the box should be sealed on the inside with silicone sealant. If it is a closed air sub ( no hole in the magnet) you need a 50mm port about 120mm long Box size will be 13 inches x 13 inches x 13 inches
