I have that game too, but I admit I haven't played it in a long time. The chances are, and I'm just guessing here, they are no longer supporting the game's on line servers. It happens with older games.

try to configure your system to the dorms internet protocols first, then try at different parts of the day, too many people using the internet will kill bandwidth, leaving you disconnected a lot.

One reason this may be happening is having the media sharing option on. Some routers can't handle all the requests the ps3 sends while having this option on. You're using a wireless connection right?

How do you fix the error 8001050f? i have a wireless connection to my wifi and its 100%, i can browse the web but theres an error when trying to sign in to psn. it was working just fine earlier toady.

same with me. i think you have to send it out to get fixed...i freaking out right now, almost got platinum on resident evil 5 and (8005010f) just popped out of no where

On signing in to psn i get the error 80711008

Go to your Internet Connection Settings, then Disable the Media Server thing and it should work, hopefully. I did it and I think it's working now, because I'm downloading the new 2.76 Update.

Turn off PS3 system..
1: Reset your modem by unplugging it from the main power source.
2: After a few minutes, plug modem power back into modem. Allow all connections to configure
3: Turn on PS3 system.
4: Go to "Settings" then scroll all the way down to "Network Settings"
5: Make sure that the "internet connection" (the second menu) is "Enabled"
6: Go to "Internet Connection Settings" and go through the motions again.
