Please use other modes to check if the issue exists. Unplug your machine for 5 minutes, plug back in and then you can retest the washer. Thank you.

AMANA LW8303W2 Top loader washer. I get lint in the wash. I want to remove the agitator to access the lint filter. There is no bolt holding the agitator in place. How do I remove the agitator?

Take top cap or fabric softener dispenser off of agitator and you can the bolt.

Sis has old washer that won't fill past smallest water level. It cycles fine, but need to see diagram, where is the pressure hose so I can check it, or if there's a water level/pressure switch.

Sounds like the load size switch on the control panel is not contacting any position except the small load. Replace the switch.

The little door that opens to let water into machine(front loader) does not open. Why?

My Amana heavy duty top load spins slow reguardless of load size. It also leaks out the bottom during spin cycle.

Most likely is a bad belt but could be the pump has a bad bearing in it.

Replaced the belt on my Amana Washer Model #ALW480DAW, because the previous belt broke, and the washer wouldn't spin. We used a 30" belt from an auto part store (Home Depot did not have the 30 1/4" belt...

Amana ALW480DAW washer

Remove the front panel by loosening the two screws that hold it in place. Unhook the spring that puts tension on the tension pulley. Remove old/worn belt and replace with new belt. Very important that you use the correct size belt or the motor may be damaged and remember to hook the spring back for the tension pulley. The new belt has to go around the inside of the tension pulley.

How do you remove the knob off the Timer?

look for a small hole along the side of it that may hold a set screw...turn the screw counterclockwise...the screw may be a hex-head

I had the very same question, so I can buy a replacement that is just as big. Not finding the answer online, but only your question, I measured mine and calculated the volume at about 2.5 cubic feet. I am surprised it seems so small, because it is labeled as an extra large capacity. Of course, it is now about 15 years old, so maybe the new ones are mega washers or something. I wonder if I will get that much time out of a new one.
