I had this issue. I pushed the headset into the jack with force, and it now works. You have to really push it into the jack

I replaced the battery charger with a quest charger, chair now charges but wont function i guess because of the inhibit feature how can i fix this

A few things to consider: A blown charger fuse can cause the charger inhibit to activate. Determine if all controller connections are plugged into the power base properly. If the 3-pin charger inhibit connector is not plugged in properly, then the charger inhibit feature will activate.

I have canon SX 100 IS PowerShot and facing the error Lens Error Restart Camera. Please solve the problem.

The lens error indicates that the movement is inhibited possibly by sand or grit. It also may be misaligned or an internal component has failed. Here are a few links to some other things to try. With newer cameras I am usually hesitant to suggest these options since they include some more extreme procedures that may cause further damage if not done correctly, but since yours is probably no longer under warranty, they may save you an expensive repair bill. An older Canon camera is used to demonstrate these procedures but, the lens structure of these compact cameras is the same so the examples do apply to this unit. These procedures are effective about 60% of the time. Click on or copy and paste the links into your browser.

The intercom button keeps flashing red and green and it will not let us use it. It says Error: Inhibited

If you have more than one phone then its probably flashing because the phone ID is the same as another phone on your system or not setup up yet with an ID just has two dashes (--). or you if you have more than one phone on the system and have more than 2 lines coming into the phone, they all have to be on line 1 together in the first port on the back. Communication between sets are done on line 1

Engine light flashing

The most common problem for a misfire and a flashing check engine light is the ignition coi on plug.
Each spark plug has its own coil pack. With a coil pack failing it will also cause a airflow code as the car will start to run rich. With the vehicle misfiring it can also inhibit the Cruise control but it will not necessarily bring on a gearbox fault. The most common cause of the gearbox fault light coming on as you describe is usually a weak battery.
I would replace the coil pack and have the battery tested.
Thanks and good luck

Rec Inhibit Light remains ON

The easiest way I know to fix the problem is just play tapes. Sounds like a bad switch contacts. clean the contacts or replace the switch. I don't know of any shortcuts. Sorry

I have RCA Executive Serices 4 lin system Phone and I used to use headset all of sudden I hace message saying " Error: inhibited ". Would you plaese help fix my problem. Thanks for your...

Tom,

I had the "error: inhibited" problem with my RCA 4-line Executive Series phone as well.
When I checked the line from the phone to the wall outlet, I saw that it had come undone.
After I plugged the phone back into the wall, it started working normally again.

I recommend substituting in a different, known-good telephone to see if that works.
If you can't get any phone to work plugged into that extension, then the extension is dead.
If another phone works but your RCA still will not, then the problem is with the RCA phone.

A similar idea is to try moving your RCA phone, substituting it in place of a working phone.
If it works in room X but not in room Y, suspect the phone wiring running to room Y.

This phone employs a common but awkward means of wiring up lines two and four.
Line two is wired to the wall by piggybacking on the patch cable used for line one.
Line four is wired to the wall by piggybacking on the patch cable used for line three.
A phone cord has four wires running through it, but a phone signal requires just two.
The piggybacking technique leverages the cable's free pair to feed a second line.

The upshot is that one can test the wiring for lines one and three with a simple, plain phone.
To test the wiring to lines two or four, some specialized knowledge is needed.
In place of that knowledge, a different two-line phone which also piggybacks might be used.

That's detail you'll need to consider only if your problem is specific to line 2 and/or line 4.

Anyhow, I hope I'm not patronizing by being too simple. But, I had this problem too.
It turned out to have nothing to do with the phone itself; the signal wiring to it was bad.

I realize that this feedback is a bit late and that you've likely already resolved your issue.
Perhaps this feedback will someday help somebody else (since these Q&As are archived).

Lincoln

Error:Inhibited

unplug the phone, remove any batteries, and unplug the phone cord, wait ten minutes, and replace batteries, plug it back in and it should reset it.

LINE 1

You can try the following:

Restoring the Defaults
This feature allows you to reset all the menu settings to the original default settings.
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Use the REVIEW or to scroll to RESTORE SET.
3. Press SELECT.
4. Use the REVIEW or to scroll to YES.
5. Press SELECT to save. To start over, press EXIT to return to the RESTORE SET menu.

If this does not help, and the cord is good (use another phone to test), then the phone is bad.

Hope this helps.
