I have an Electrolux EIDW 6105GB1. The washer fills with water then immediatly drains back out, the lights all flash and the trouble code light under the kick panel indicates the wash pump. It has done this before and I took the pump out and checked it with power direct, then returned it to the main control board plug and it was working and pulsing it's speed as it should. It worked fine for several weeks and now it's doing it again. Is it possible that there's a problem with the water float inside that's causing this to drain out after fill? Thanks, Mike

I ordered a new pump and motor assembly, I'm expecting it Friday and will install it this weekend. Hopefully your right. Thanks!

Hi Daniel, it turns out it wasn't the pump or motor, it was the motor capacitor, When I recieved the new pump motor assembly, a new capacitor was included with it. After checking the motor again I still didn't believe the problem was with the motor. So just for giggles I swapped the capacitor and it worked fine. To cross check, I tried the new motor with the old capacitor and as you'd expect, it faulted out as main wash pump failure. I can get a capacitor for $8.50, and maybe even less. I will try to send the motor assembly back for a refund. In the future I would maybe recommend replacing the capacitor first? At least on that model dishwasher? It's alot cheaper than $130.00 for a pump.

Hi

The issue is either with the wash pump that is going bad or the motor itself that is unable to run. As the washer fills and then drains immediately so the pressure/float switch should also be checked. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

My 7kg Electrolux front load washer keeps stopping from between 1 to 14 minutes before it finishes. I have to keep coming in to press restart button. It keeps saying ERR 10. What does this mean?

Family alarm code E10 means difficulty in filling during wash phase or water leakage.

Could be:

E11 - Tap closed or water pressure too low; Drain tube improperly positioned; Water fill solenoid valve is faulty; Leaks from water circuit on pressure switch; Pressure switch faulty; Wiring faulty; PCB faulty.

E13 - Drain tube improperly positioned; Water pressure too low;
Water fill solenoid valve is faulty; Water circuit on pressure switch is leaking/clogged; Pressure switch faulty.

E13 error code on my electrolux washer what does it mean

You didn't specify model of your washing machine.
For Electrolux that usually means water leaks (Maximum overall water fill time exceeded (sum of all water fills between one drain phase and the next to avoid exceeding the maximum volume).

I have an electrolux EIFLW55HIWO washer. When I wash clothes everything is okay. After emptying the washer it will let water seep back in. I will do the spin cycle and a couple days later the washer has...

Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry!

I see you are experiencing a water issue within your Electrolux washer. It sounds like it could be a problem with your water valve, drain pump, or control board. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend having a professional come and diagnose your appliance properly. I hope this helps to some degree. -Matt

Electrolux washer -dryer water not going into machine

Firstly we will need some more info. Does anything happen when you press start? Can you do a drain only? A spin only? Any countdowns, display info or flashing lights? Have you got hot and cold water connections and have you tried both settings?

If when you start the washer and everything is in place for your washer to fill and no water enters then it is the solenoid valve (water inlet valve) On a front load washer remove the top cover and you will see it clearly at the rear. They are fairly cheap, also check that the filters in the hose connection of the valve are clear.

Error code E10 on the electrolux ecovalve EWF1087 front load washer. What does this mean?

E10 is a timeout code. I found the answer on google by refining my search criteria. The tap was not turned on enough for the washer to fill up in time before the timeout was reached. After restarting the washer and turning the tap on further, the washer cycle completed without error.

Have a trouble: dish-washer will not drain.

I just moved into a new house and builder had provided a dish washer drain just below my kitchen drain line.

DIsh washer install was done by me, every thing worked out OK except dish washer would not drain after a wash cycle.

Cause: drain provided by builder was blocked and needed a circular small cut before mounting drain hose over it.
