Hello i have problem met toshiba tecra 8000 wine i turn on the loptap the black screen want password but i don'nt give the password i open the loptap to find bios battry but i didn't find plz help !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try accessing the BIOS screen when it boots up by pressing either the ESC or F1 keys repeatedly and there should be a password or supervisor password section where you can disable all the passwords.

You will have to strip the laptop and access the round battery on the motherboard. Remove that battery for 2 minutes and then put it back in.

This will remove the password

Hi there, if it' a BIOS password (black screen and white writing) you have to remember it, otherwhise you have to bring it in for assistance. They have tools to reset the password.

go to system setting by pressing F2 when you see the toshiba or bios logo

disable the system setting auto update.

toshiba tecra 8000 does not have built in wireless, you need to install an external wireless adapter (usb or pcmcia), and use the software provided with the wireless adapter to configure it

Ok, try this , go to start, and the run. type " control userpasswords2" and then enter.

windows pop up. User accounts: uncheck box-users must enter a user name......., and then click apply. follow the screen below.
