Opening fryer door during operation does not correct gas leak problem.
If there is gas leak on your fryer's system, you have to fix the leak or replace parts if necessary.
You can download parts, operation and owner's manual at pitco web on http://www.middleby.com

13 year old pitco frialator fryer pilot wont stay on. changed gas valve and thermopile.... pilot light wont stay lite

Hi there.
Check and tighten all wiring connections.
Check the hi limit for continuity across the terminals using an ohm meter, if it has no continuity, you have to replace the hi limit.

Need to adjust pilot light could you explain how? Thanks

Hi there.
Pilot light on Millivolt Gas Valve can be adjusted by removing the screw (with pilot adj mark) just below the gas valve knob and tightening (to increase pilot flame) or loosening (to decrease pilot flame) the screw inside. However, make sure that the gas pressure is sufficient and the pilot assembly is clean before doing this.

My pilot light is out on pitco 35cs fryer, i cant locate it to relight it

Pilot assembly is located between the two middle burners, this is where the pilot is lighted. You have to turn the gas valve knob to pilot position then push it while lighting the pilot assembly.

My pitco gas frialator oil leak in tank .how can

You need to identify where the leak is coming.
If the leak is on the fry tank, best way to address it is to replace the oil tank.
Check the serial number of the unit with leak on fry tank, verify if it is still under warranty at PITCO web on http://www.middleby.com.

The fryer is a pitco 35cs can u tell me y it heats up to 550 and shuts the pilot down

It shuts down because it is tripping the high limit. Apply a soap solution to the lines going from the gas valve to the thermostat. If bubbles appear there is a leak and needs to be corrected. If no bubbles appear then the thermostat is probably your problem.

Fryer heats up to 550 degrees and shuts down pilot and triggers the reset button which thermostat is it the operating on or the high end on i have already replaced the gas valve

Either the thermostat is bad or there is a gas leak between the gas valve and the thermostat. Use a soap solution and apply it to the 1/4" gas lines between the thermostat and gas valve. If bubbles appear then you need to fix the gas leak. If no bubbles appear then set the gas valve to the pilot position, remove the gas line marked "out" (the left one) from the gas valve. Turn the gas valve to on. The burners should turn on. Place you finger over the hole where the disconnected line was and the burners should turn off within 10 -15 seconds. If this happens then the thermostat is your problem.

Hi, i am having a problem with a deep fryer. Pitco Frialator 35CS. The pilot is liting, but the burner will not lite. Solve this for me. thanks

Make sure that the gas pressure is standard (as rated on nameplate), thermopile must be clean (no dirt or soot) and the thermostat is good.
