The problem of your teevision is what we called the vertical line problem.The problem is in the vertical section of the board.There are many of cause of that problem.First is either loose connection,the circuit at the vertical section have cold solder so its need to resolder using soldering iron.Second,it maybe no vertical supply,its better to check the 12 volts dc supply of vertical ic output.if thers no supply in the ic,there a open resistor near the flyback.try to replace.Third if theres no loose connection and have a voltage supply the problem is either leaked capacitor or deffective vertical ic output.
Commonly in that problem is the loose connection,try to resolder the verical section.
I too had the same problem but i have solved it. When i was scrolling all the channels, a hidden menu appeared. In that hidden menu all the tv functions are present. By changing the values we can adjust the resolution.
Either the power supply is shot and not providing enough power to the unit. It also may be faulty system board but that would probably just cause colored lines. I would have power supply checked out with multi-meter
This is know as a diffusion issue. Most times this can be corrected with some minor alignment on the pots on the YSUS pwb. Sometimes the YSUS pwb has failed and will need to be replaced.
