I bought a new panasonic dmcfh20 camera from **** Smith but the booklet that came with it does not explain how to use all the functions available on the camera, so i need a user manual that will explain how to use all the functions where can I get one?

Please go to this above site and download your user manual, and drivers, inside the manual the operation you describe is addressed inside. Usually though, the SD card is only used when the Camera's memory is "Full" Or there may be a function to transfer to SD card, but usually one simply need an increase in memory, and to get the photos one uses the software and downloads to a PC, or where ever and it doesn't matter where it is stored.
Check out the Panasonic site. They have PDF file downloads for many of their camera models.
You can also call the Panasonic service rep in your area and order a copy. They will probably charge you their cost for the mailing and stocking value for it.
