On most amp red isnt good that means it in protection mode try turning your setting on the amp down all the way and turn the volume down tell you can get sound out of them then turn up the volume to were you would to them most and set the to what sounds the best but make sure the light doesnt dim down when the base hits

I have this hooked up and works fine with the key on, but when i start the car, sub light, amp and sub dont come on.

You have connected it to the wrong power wire - one that is only active in service mode - first key position.
You should draw a wire directly from the battery (don't forget to add a 40 amps fuse on the wire) to the amps. If you don't want them constantly operational (you will have to manually shut them down) install a relay on the wire with the command coming from a wire from the instrument key position - second position of the key. Use a voltmeter to identify the wires.

The red triangular light on my 1800 watt kenwood amp is flashing and i do not know what to do to fix it. no sound is coming out of my subs

i have a smaller kenwood amp but it has the same triangle, i had that problem too, so i ran a ground wire from the battery to the amp, with 12 ga wire, and then i also grounded it with the chassis ground, on the big amps its better to have really good grounds and connections

My subs/amp are not working

when you car is running, it charges the battery somewhat. So the voltage problem is not a problem. The red light means the amp is going into ''Protect Mode". This usually happens when something is wrong with the amp. Usually the amp is getting hot. Check all of you connectiong and check the final impedance of the subs. Make sure the amp can handle the impedance of the subs. If you need anymore help, message me.

I have checked all connections to my amp battery, head unit, remote or trigger wire, fuses, power cable, rca leads, ground wire, amp has a green led light on it indicating if it works ok,red if it`s not,light...

Your amp could be in protection mode! Sometimes turning up to high or wires touching will put in protection mode! It will have to be unplugged for a day or two to drain all power out of the memory. Leave accessorie/ignition wire hooked up, just not power and ground wiring. It should reset itself.
