Red..accessory Yello..constant...battery.. Black..ground.. Blue/yellow ...steering .. Blue/white..remote.. Blue..antenna.. All speaker wire wuth black..negative.. All solid color is positive
Hi, red = ingnition power black = ground yellow = constant +12v blue = remote. There should be 8 wires bunched 4 colours & 4 same colours with white stripes. These you will have to experiment with your cars wiring. This is just a eneral rule for most stereo wiring. Hope it helps.
Red wire is switched power (only has power when key is turned), yellow is constant power, black is ground, blue is accessories (e.q. or amp switched power), dual grey, dual blue, dual white and dual other is for speakers, (usually the one with the marking is the positive speaker side). This should help..
as far as i know there is no green with a white stripe on kenwoods, unless you are looking at a blue with white, which is an amplifier remote turn on wire. you should have a yellow wire which needs to be connected to a constant power source, as this wire keeps the radio preset and clock from losing memory.
Yellow is for constant 12v. (Power directly from battery) so it maintains preset stations and clock memory. Red is for Key "on" 12v Power (turns on when ignition key is on) Black is for Chasis Ground. What type of vehicle is it going in? I can get you the corresponding vehicle color as well. Post a comment with make/model & year vehicle. Hope this helps.
do you have power at both supplys on the wire harness?( red and yellow) red wire will have power with the key on. Also make sure your ground is hooked up right.
very simple on the back of the deck you will have a wire harness Yellow = constant power supply Red = Switch power supply Black = Ground White = left front speaker + White /Black stripe = Left Front speaker - Grey = right front speaker + Grey /Black Stripe = right front speaker - Green = left rear speaker + Green w/ black stripe = left rear speaker - Purple = right rear speaker + purple w/ black stripe = right rear speaker -
