Ryobi charger model # 140295003 has a red and yellow light. When charging red light is on what does the yellow light mean? Also how long should the battery be left in the charger?

Hi,

The yellow light means that there still is an amount of charge on the battery, meaning that it isn't fully discharged. The red light means that it is partly discharged and you can charge it up.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

Lights on Rechargable Lantern.. Swissgear SG66301

I don't know how to solve your problem but, the three lights mean this:
Red LED light indicates the battery is being charged
Green LED light indicates that the battery is fully charged
Amber LED light incidates that the battery power level is low - the battery needs recharge.
Do not recharge you battery over 24 hours.

When the battery is in the charger it flashes red & won't charge, have no idea what problem is! Have casio exilim lithium ion NP-20 battery & a casio exilim 7.2 megapixels camera. Can't turn camera...

I called casio and they told me that when you have a red flashing light on the charger it means the lithium battery is no longer any good. They offered to send me one free of charge. It's been several weeks and I have yet to receive it.

Panasonic vx37

My old Panasonic Palmcorder IQ shows a red light in both switch positions-camera and VCR. Maybe yours has red for camera and green for VCR so you could tell them apart. I found that the Panasonic battery that came with the camera was the cheapest kind with the least charging time. I bought other batteries, they were good for a while, but now, many years later, they won' t hold a charge. Since I am only recording inside of my house, I have resorted to using the AC wall socket for power. I have to take the battery out of the camera. I found a power plug-in hole (like ones on cell phones) in the battery compartment. I also found one of these holes on my battery charger. My camera came with a double ended power plug. I plug one end into my camera and the other end into the battery charger. I plug the charger power cord into the wall outlet, and I have power to my older camera. Maybe you can find this double ended power cord at a store or on line.

Did you know that there are 2 kinds of batteries? Some have memories and others do not rely on a memory. The ones with memories have to be fully discharged or they will only charge a little, and keep charging less and less each time they are charged. The ones without the memory can be charged fully without being discharged fully. Check into battery information on line to get more information. Maybe you can get the non-memory kind.

Need help charging my mintek dvd player battery

The way the battery is usually charged is by plugging it into the player and plugging the player into the a/c outlet. Do not use the player, Just allow the player to charge the battery. The way you tell if the charging is working is the light on the front will usually be a red color and it will be steady color or blinking while charging. When the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green or turn off . This lets you know that the battery has fully charged. To test this try using the dvd player on the battery only. Play a dvd or cd and see if the battery is working properly. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Rechargable Batteries Battery Charger

When batteries are placed into the charge mode, the red light will come on.
When fully charged, on those units with a green light, the green light will be an indication that your batteries are charged and if your unit has no green light, the fully charged indication will be when the red light turns iff.
