Hello out there, we just got a VX37L and after about a week we noticed that when first turned on there is a thin, bright, sharp lime green border or "edge" that is around all the objects like people, cars, buildings, etc. at the same time. Looks like things have an "aura" showing. It has a 90 day in-house warranty but wanted to see if anyone seen this before (like a bad HDMI cable) or something before I call for service. Thanks in advance for any information.

0178 will work but you have to keep the set-up button pressed down for more than a few seconds after you press TV on your cox remote. (You will see the tv button light up 2 or 3 times after pressing it and holding the set-up button down)

Our Vizio started doing the same thing after only three weeks, except it was also showing green pixel when we watched DVDs. After checking this site and others and trying all the "tweaking" advised, I finally called Vizio's customer support. They were extremely polite and tried to help over the phone, but had to send someone to the house to make the repair (anything 40 inches or larger earns a house call). The tech arrived on time and was extremely professional and pleasant -- he had to replace the daughter board and LVDS cables. So far, so good.

Hello,
I found out that the main board gets too hot after few minutes that the TV is ON and that causes the interference of voltage, So, I don't know what causes it but my Vizio Tv turned green also and I installed a desk FAN behind the TV and kept it cool. This solved the problem, but as soon as I turn the FAN OFF, TV gets hot and turns green again. I spoke to VIZIO Customer Service and the people that I bought it from; Vizio knew about the problem and offered to fix it, but the wholesaler that I bought mine from is willing to swap it for another one.
I hope this would help to continue using the TV untill the problem is fixed.
Thank you
Shane
