Left-click on -> Driver - Audio

Left-click on the blue ->
ADI SoundMax Audio Driver for Windows 98SE/2000/ME/XP

To the right of File name: sp24465.exe (14MB), click on -> Download

A small window will come up on the right -
Opening sp24465.exe
Left-click on -> Save File

A small window will come up on the left.
In the wording at the top of this window, tells you where the file will download to.
It may have Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads, in the wording.

Desktop: The file (sp24465.exe) will be on your desktop screen.

My Documents: Left-click on Start, then on My Documents

Downloads: Left-click on Start, then on My Documents.
DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

When you see the file name (sp24465.exe) DOUBLE-click on it.
The Installation Wizard will appear.
At the bottom of the next three small windows, left-click on -
Next, Next, and Finish.

If you are asked to restart your computer, do so.
If not close all windows, go back to your desktop screen.
Restart your computer.
(Start > Turn Off Computer > Restart )

Still no sound? Let Windows run for a few minutes. Say 10 minutes.
Then turn the computer OFF.
WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer back on.

Still no sound? The OnBoard audio on your motherboard is bad.
(Integrated audio)
The audio chipset is no good.

Suggestion then is to install a PCI soundcard.

I'm not going to go through a list for you, but I can tell that you don't have many options. The HP Compaq Business Desktop D530 uses a small form factor which means you don't have the same space as normal desktop users inside of your machine for the vast majority of display adapters. You would need at least a medium form factor for that.
The other problem is that your power supply is only 185W and can't supply the the amount of power needed for most desktop class display adapters.
The machine you are using wasn't designed to ever be used for gaming, and it shows. You would need to get a bigger computer case and higher watt (around 400 to 600 watt) power supply to support most desktop display adapters.

I fixed that retarded license agreement issue by first uninstalling the HP Games Console and putting checks in all those check boxes next to the individual games titles so they as well get uninstalled.

I then loaded the HP recovery manager and clicked on the "advanced settings". I told it i would like to re-install software. from the list they provided I found the HP Games. I selected that and told it to re-install. It warned me I must have the game uninstalled first, i knew it was gone because i had just done it so I continued with the re-install....that re-install part took like 5mins to complete. I thought it was frozen at one point it took so long but I decided to leave it alone and have a beer then re-check it....A few tasty beers later I checked on the re-install and it told me it had completed and asked me to restart. Once it was rebooted the HP Games icon was back on my desktop and I could continue beyond that silly license agreement.

TA DA! damn i'm smooth with computers.

download and install it on your device,it will work just be fine

hey if you really have problem in your bios then you should send your system to the hp care center. Bcoz it cant be downloaded. These are firmware and it installed during manufacturing of your pc...okay

may be some of ur window file causing a problem jst try to restore them by your back up or game drivers causing problem

3. In Device Manager, expand Processors.
4. Double-click the processor, and then click the Details tab.
5. Click to select the Hardware Ids in the drop-down list.
6. Examine the information in the details pane to determine whether the computer uses an older Intel Pentium.

Your question would be better directed to HP as they have motherboards manufactured on their behalf.

thisCompaq D530 small form factor pc is only able to run a processor to 3.2ghz @ 800mhz front side bus ( FSB )
