You either have a dual SIM card phone (it can use two SIMs with two different phone numbers) or you're confusing the MicroSD memory card slot with the SIM card slot.
If you truly have a dual SIM card phone, just put the SIM card in slot 1. Your phone's user manual should be able to offer further info.
Well it is either a problem with the SIM card or the phone. First you should test out your SIM card.
Put the SIM in a friend's phone. If you put the SIM card in this other phone but it still says insert sim card, then it is the SIM that is no good. If the SIM works fine in the other phone, it would be the phone that is the problem.
Try to reinstall you sim card.
If this does not work, install you sim card back into the new phone.
If the sim card works in your new phone.
The sim card is not defective.
Your a107 may not be working correctly.
In most cases putting in your sim card will in fact lock the phone. but it's not permanent. So try it. put your sim card in.. if the phone works, then you don't have to worry about unlocking it. If it does lock the phone, just put back his sim into the phone and it will be fine. There are many places that you can unlock phones or even purchase unlock codes. This is NOT illegal, phone carriers just make it difficult to do. Good luck and let me know of the results.
