pull the power plug of your dvd player, and keep unplugged for few minuites. and put it back it will eject the cd. or locate pin hole near the " disc tray" (most of dvd player have this hole) insert and push the metal pin( use lengthy pin). best of luck and keep smiling

After disc is loaded, it says "unknown disc."

Is it a pirated dvd? If it is, do you know some dvd players won't read pirated dvds? And if it isn't, then your dvd player may be dirty (the lens). For that you would have to buy a cleaning disk. You can get one at Radioshack. Or maybe what type of dvd type is it? Is it dvd-r, dvd-rw, or what? Some dvd players have trouble reading dvd-rw sometimes.

Hope this helps.

I came home one day and nothing worked...the power light just keeps blinking????? what can I do?

Unplug for 24 hours, if still bad then power supply is bad, usually you had a power surge as the unit is still on when it's turned off. Get new unit and buy APC 5 minutes minimum. Ask salesman, he'll help. Way too costly to repair..

Power light keeps blinking

Make sure your disk is free from damage or other elements, such as dirt or finger prints. Try a different disk and see if the problem still occurs. You may also be experiencing the problem due to a dirty DVD optical lens. Try using a DVD disk cleaner, available locally, to correct the problem. also, make sure its not a remote control problem; if so, Your battery may be weak and needs replacement...
