Hi there, I have a 3M LX451 Keypad mousen and the mouse itself works but the numbers dont work. Is there any downloads I can get to get it to work?

Support says it is compatible with Microsoft - Windows XP, Vista and later and Apple MAC OS 10 X v10.4.X, v10.5.X and later. Turn off computer and connect usb and turn on computer it will detect mouse. Link below may help

There is no solution. I have the same problem and 3M doesn't care about fixing this.

It might be that your keypad ic or chip has been damaged.

Hi,

Make sure you dont have any viruses or spyware. It is the number one cause of mouse glitches.

Install a good anti-spyware program and run it. In the least install CCleaner - it is free and is a fantastic program. You can find it here:

Run it (regularly).

If that doesnt fix the issue then start addressing the mouse itself. Unplug it. Restart the pc. Plug it in. Restart the pc again. Right click My Computer, goto Properties, Hardware, Device Manager. Under "mice and other pointing devices" there should NOT be an exclamation mark. This means everything is ok.

Next open up this option and it should say HID compliant mouse. Right click it and select update driver. It may or may not offer you an upto date driver. But essentially, that should do it.

If this doesnt fix it, borrow another (working) mouse, and try it instead. It may after all be the mouse thats a problem.

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling from scrap wireless mosuse and keyboard software.

his will re-synch mouse and keyboard, and devices will restart working properly.

Mouse and keyboard can be reinstalled using disk provided with devices, or downloading from manufacturer website.

need to replace the touchscreen glass or controller

maybe it is full of dust on those buttons. Try cleaning it with a duster of mini-brush because it interrupts the function.
