Hey there! I had this program once, but don't have it much longer. But I can remember that if you click 'tools' there should be options about the shapes of the fading cursor.
I hope I helped you & that this was helpful at most! Let me know & Don't forget to rate! :)

Hello,
You can draw several graphs on the same screen and use the TRACE function to move the cursor along a curve and read the values of the x-y coordinates. To move cursor along the same curve you use the left and right arrow keys.
But to jump from one curve to another curve, you use the Up and down arrows. Each time you press the Up or down arrow cursor jumps from the current curve being traced to the next one as they were entered in Y= editor.

You should use the Up and down arrow to move cursor on a curve then hit ENTER to select the first onecurve. Use again the Up or Down arrow to move cursor to the second curve then press ENTER to select it.
Once two curves have been selected you will be prompted for a guess.

I don't know how to trace "Whole"(?) co-ordinates on the TI-84. ((2,4)/(4,8) Instead of (1.223,3.96)/(4.5,6.324))

Hello,
The trace allows you to move continuously along the curve you have drawn.
To do that you use the left and right arrows.
As the cursor moves along the curve, its coordinates are displayed at the bottom of the screen. You cannot fix the step. However I suspect it to be related to the Xres variable that is set in the Window dimension.

Basically, you make the cursor stroll along the curve and read what the screen displays. If you have several curves, you jump from one to the other by pressing the UP or Down Arrow.

Hope it helps.

Cannot turn CC off.

Features preferences
Caption service
This allows you to select the Closed Captions service levels of analog
broadcasting to be displayed.
Closed Captioning allows you to read the voice content of television
programs on the TV screen. Designed to help the hearing impaired, this
feature uses on-screen ‘text boxes’ to show dialogue and conversations
while the TV program is in progress. Captions will appear on the screen
during captioned broadcasts.
& Select Captions service.
é Press the cursor right.
“ Select the desired Caption service:
• CC 1, 2, 3 or 4
Dialogue (and descriptions) for the action on the captioned TV program
shows on screen.
Usually CC 1 is the most used. CC 2 may be used for alternate languages
if they are being transmitted.
• T 1, 2, 3 or 4
Often used for channel guide, schedules, bulletin board information for
Closed Captions programs, news, weather informations or stock market
reports.
Not all Caption services are necessarily being used by a TV channel during
the transmission of a Closed Caption program.

Features menu
& Select Features in the TV Settings menu.
é Press the cursor right to enter the Features menu.
“ Select the menu items with the cursor up/down and adjust the settings
with the cursor left/right.
Closed captions
This displays the transmitted CC- or CS-text on the screen according to
your chosen CC or CS service in the Setup, Features preferences menu,
This text can either be permanently displayed (assuming that the
service is available in the broadcast) or only when mute is active.
& Press the cursor right after having selected Closed captions.
é Select On, Off or On during mute.

The cursor is on one of the curves. Read the equation top of the screen. If it is one of the curves you want press [ENTER]. The cursor jumps to another curve (in this case the only other curve).

Read the equation on top of the screen to verify thst it is the correct one. Press [ENTER]. The calculator asks asks for a guess of the coordinates of the intersection point.

As the intersection point is to the left of the current cursor position, use the left arrow to move cursor closer to the point.

Press [ENTER], and wait for the solution. Here it is.

In your question you talk about y intercept. If you want to calculate the ordinate of the point where a curve intersects the Y-axis, it is more efficient to use the [2nd][CAL][1:Value] selection.
0a11a73.jpg
You enter X=0 and press [ENTER]. The cursor jumps on the first curve (Y1=) an gives you the y-intercept.
7420d8f.jpg
Notice the position of cursor on graph. The y-value at the bottom is its ordinate.
To get the y-intercept of the second curve, leave the cursor on y axis and press the DownArrow. Cursor jumps to tthe second curve.
Since the X=0 is still stored, the value of y is displayed directly.

Hope it helps.
