for connectivity you should plug on usb data cable on usb port.which you can buy from any nokia distributers office.first you should uninstall the nokia pc suite then reinstall during the installation process pc suite ask you for connect your data cable device to usb port you should connect data cable to usb port.then your device nokia 2690 will display on connectivity box.then click on finish.but you think seriously that is your data cable matching with your nokia 2690? you should buy original usb data cable from the trusted nokia distributors must be matched with nokia 2690.

Uninstall the pc suite first. > go to device manager by typing "devmgmt.msc" in "run" > check if there the nokia hardware is listed there or not. > if it is there uninstall it. > restart the system and install the software. > when it prompts to insert the usb cable insert it. > it will automatically detect the cable and will install the firmware from the mobile. > after installing it will work fine.
