What was the washer doing that made you attempt this repair? I would say you will need to replace the pump assembly now.

may b the heater element

Tub seal leaking letting water get to tub bearings need shaft and bearings replaced.

The main panel logic board is not going through its cycles.

(this is pre-typed to cover a number of power faults!)

Check that the washer supply is OK using another item - a kettle for instance. If it's not check your breakers/fuses. Reset/replace if necessary and if the same thing happens, or if there was nothing wrong with the breakers/fuses in the first place, sorry but with such a fault it is impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what could be wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.

I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.

If your washer is less than a year old,and you have proof of purchase, then I would advise you to contact Hotpoint direct as the washer will still be under guarantee, and anything you do to it could invalidate the guarantee.
