The convergence went out the door on this Panasonic PT-47WX53G. Images had 3 colors to the left of it. I went on the convergence and reset to the factory settings. The tv went dark with a vertical raibow 6 inches wide swirl in the middle of the screen and will not allow me to see nothing to reset it or going to set up....HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

You will need to replace both STK392-110 convergence Ics. You can get replacement ICs with free instalation instructions with pictures at the following link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/

The tv convergence board is dead.Any colors G,B,R don't alignment matches up.The tv convergence board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead. These parts must be replaced to solved convergence problems. The shop will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.
The convergence ICs have failed which is very common when the set has been moved as a wek IC wont allow the color to be moved. You can get the PT52WX53G convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which is the correct one for your model. The kit contains the parts and the CD with repair instructions.
Install the PT53WX53 convergence repair kit available from www.tvrepairworld.com the kit contains the ICs, Resistors and the CD with repair instructions.
Have you moved the TV recently?, if so the red can(Red source) in the back bottom of the TV may have physically shifted in its holder, this is common when a rear projection tv is moved, jostled. Take the back off, look at the three cans,Red, Blue, Green, see if they all look like they are nested the same, bet the red is shifted a little.Good Luck with it!

You have a problem with the convergence output IC's. They need to be replaced. This is a very common problem with all projection tv's as those IC's are high current components.
3 blinks means the convergence circuits are shutting the set down. Usually the convergence ICs will take care of the problem, but I would recommend getting the service manual from the following link, as they will provide you free support to help you diagnose why it wont start as usually the convergence ICs wont prevent a set from powering up, unless another component in the convergence circuit has failed. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
First of all are you sure you were in the factory menu this step requires alot of known how!!!!!! By using your hand unit only customer controls can be reached unless you know factory menu setup. Which starts like this ,make sure antenna to cable then go to menu set sleep timer to 30 mins exit out now enter ch 124 then press v- down on tv you should now see on top CHK ,also these sets have double convergence patterens.if you were in factory set up for more information look in www.freelists.org techassist/09-2005 .let me know if you still need help.
It's a possibility that this board may be at fault or it is also possible that the convergence amplifiers are drawing too much current and shutting the unit down. This may require replacing both IC's along with a convergence touchup, or as you mentioned, it may simply be the job of swapping the Digital Convergence board PN TNP2AA120S.
thanks for the insight......i hope all goes well and I can find both chips.....
