I NEED the format converter again for my DSM958 DIAMOND. BECAUSE I LOST THE DISK INCLIDED WHITH MY PLAYER!!!! HOW I DO??? WHERE I CAN DOWLOAND!!!

That message can be generated in only 2 occasions:
1. the disk has been burned at a high speed and because of that the difference between the reflectivity of the data point and the disk background is smaller than what this player can detect so the player rejects it. The only thing you can do is to burn it at a slower speed.
2. the disk is coded in another format that your player can decode. Actually the only formats that this very basic player can decode are the dvd and vcd. If you get a disk in any other format you will have to load it in a pc, convert it to vcd or dvd and burn it again to a disk. For that you must install and use a converter, one like

It supports .SMV video format. The CD the unit came with should have a converter called video2smv. If not, get it here: http://www.filefactory.com/file/57d524/n/video2smv_zip

dont take it appart unless you know exactly what your doing! just take it back to where you got it ask what to do and theyll either help you or tell you where to send it to get it fixed or get a new one.

the player still has software built in. movie files need to be in mtv format with 160x128 or 128x90 resolution for player to work

MP4 for ipod is required ...download total video converter if you want to convert videos for Ipod

Did the manuel say that it could play videos?
I don't think your MP3 player plays videos, but I am not 100% sure. If you have the manuel I suggest reading it.

how do you load videos

Ryan i guess the other songs aren't in the mp3 format n the player u use might not support them... so better convert all the songs to mp3 format n then copy them to your player..
