These speakers need an "opposite" ("-" inside; "+" outside) power supply 15 V. Most power adaptors, (for example laptop adaptors) are "+" inside; "-" outside. They can not be used! So, I think, You need an universal power adaptor, which has a cord with invertible plug, and voltage 15 V. I hope a 1000mA (max power) maybe the best, but 500mA could be also satisfactory. (I have the same problem and seek for such an adaotor.) These remains for me a question now, if a 12 Volts adaptor would also work, as they are the most common universal adaptors.

What is rating of Spin 50 Power Module. Lost mine

Should it be a power supply that outputs AC and converts to DC inside the speaker case, or is it a wall adapter the outputs DC straight to the built in amplifier?
Some speakers have the voltage and polarity for the plug on the back of the speaker where the power lead plugs in. As they are only small speakers of probably a couple of watts it may only need about 2 Amps or less. Higher current is fine as the amp will only use what it needs to work correctly but I would'nt go below 2 Amps.

Opening Labtec speakers type LCS-1030

To open these you need to pull the front grille off. There are four screws, one in each corner. You'll need to do a bit of prying to get it open as the case is sealed around the edges, but it isn't too terribly difficult. Just take your time.

I have no power supply cord for my labtec lcs-1030 speakers- what do i replace it with? i cannot find specs for it anywhere online

On the back of one of the speakers, there will be 3 plugs; a green one, a grey one, and a black one. The black one is the power plug. Right below the power plug it says the voltage needed (I could only find one picture online, and it looks like it says 15v, which would be 15 volts). That number is the needed supply voltage, so search google for (number under plug) volt power adapter.

Can I connect a Labtec Model AD-SS-3 to my laptop?

This model of AC adapter puts out 14.4 Volts of DC current, at 1.0 Ampere.

I doubt that 1.0 Ampere is enough amperage to run your computer, or to recharge your computer's battery.

Look on eBay for the model-number of the original AC adapter.
You might find one from the manufacturer of your computer,
or you could find something that will be compatible in voltage/amperage.

I need a new power supply for Labtec LCS 1030 speakers and trying to obtain specs and power plug information. Anybody have the information available?

I know this is a little late, but the power supply that these speakers use appears to be 5mm across. The output specifications are 15V DC, 1000mAh (1A), with the center pin being negative.
