Call your dealership, speak to service and give them the radio serial number( in the glove box) and they should be able to tell you the code. Each radio has its own code. will take them a minute to look it on the computer. they may want some info from you to make sure you own it, like the vin number to your car, when you bought it and so on. They should give it to you free of charge. hope this helps

I just bought a 1998 Honda Accord V6 (EX?) My stereo system (stock,) face plate reads that the Radio, or CD, or Tape is playing whnever I engage either of them....However, there is no sound. What is the...

It may be that the previous owner had an aftermarket stereo in it and removed it when he sold the car. It probably did not get hooked back up correctly if this is the case. (Many Honda radios have 2 electrical connectors on the back of the radio. One usually supplies all the inputs (Power, ground, interior lamp feed, etc.) and the other is the outputs for the speakers.

I need the code for my 1998 honda accord ex 4door sedan vtech i changed my battery nd now its asking for the code

Check for a sticker with the radio code inside the glove box. Some dealers fixed a second sticker in the owners manual. If not available, get the code from a Honda dealer, and be prepared to show VIN number, and proof of vehicle ownership.

I need my code for my stock radio.is a 2004 honda accord ex serial number 10005560

Look in the glove box. On the back-side of the door there should be a small sticker, usually near the left side, that has two sets of numbers. The number set with 5 digits is your radio code.

If I'm for sure I don't think your digit code would be with the vin #. I would check your owners manual or ask a Honda mechanic. Hope this helps!?

1998 Honda Accord EX V6 2 Door - Radio Error Code on Display

No-one is ever particularly happy to here this, but this is the way it is; we do have to keep in mind that the original idea of codes on radios was to prevent people who steal them from being able to use them.

So, if an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code number into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code (some people say that they have found the code on a sticker inside the glove compartment, but I wouldn’t count on that). Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific procedure (the following usually will work: Turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release. The serial number will come up in two sets of numbers.)
Some older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number (or you can remove the unit and get the serial number from the back of the radio). Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code.

Here is the URL for the Honda Owner page. If you register (no charge) you are able to get radio codes using the VIN number of your car, the serial number of your radio, and the
Phone Number and Zip Code that you give them when you register.

Hope this helps you with the process.

Stock radio code for 92 honda accord ex

Two options:

1) Go to the dealer and see if they can look it up for you.

2) Pull the radio and see if code is written on the body of the radio. (Only works if radio has been replaced and seller was kind enough to write on there)

Anti theft light blinking on stock radio in 92 honda accord

You must go through your local honda dealer, (usually parts department) give them the numbers off the labels on the radio, along with the VIN number of the car. may have to prove ownership. They can call Honda and get that information for you. Process is alot easier if you someone that works in the parts department, if not the honda parts department, then another parts department at another car dealer.

I cannot get my radio to reset on accord ex 2005. i have the code

I just went thru this with my dealer. As you probably know, to get the correct code, you must have the radio serial number. My Accord EX has the navigation system, so that was the first problem I had to solve. The dealer had a service bulletin to tell me that. The Radio code on a 2005 Accord EX is only 4 digits. His computer showed 5 digits for the code. So he called Honda and the gave him the correct code for my serial number. It had no relationship to the 5 digits obtained from his computer. Nice, huh?
