I have a jensen JDVD-4301 4in1 car audio system and if i put a dvd into the radio it has no picture but do have sound and it gives me a "warning please stop watch video player" message on the screen! please help me fix this probleme

There's a green wire thats s'posd 2 go 2 the handbrake switch. Ground this wire 2 any ground of the unit and voala. Its a safety feature of the unit.

Jenson requires the green wire to be connected to the vehicle parking brake.(Safety feature) this green wire requires a negative switch to activate the screen.

I connect my alpine cva 1003 to valor dv-169T dvd player. sounds come out but the screen is not getting connected to dvd player. i connect red, white and yellow wires.

if evrything is ok with the dvd (make sure the dvd is working fine), you need to hook up the yellow/ blue wires and yellow / black wires one for parking breack and the other for the breack chek the diagram on top of the alpine radio .

Sound to radio but no sound to cds or dvds

I dont know what car you've got but,You need to hook up the blue amp remote wire for the antenna, when you switch to radio the antenna signal turns your car amplifier on and you get audio and when you switch to cd/dvd it switches it off because your car is wired that way, its a common issue with Mercedes etc.
