The machine overflowed. Took it apart and completely cleaned it. Ran a full 12 cups through the unit to make sure it was not blocked. This happened at least twice before, completely out of no where. Any idea why this happens? Would appreciate some feedback. [email protected]

I have a Mr. Coffee and when I forget to empty the left over coffee in the carafe and made a full pot, it overflowed. I did this three times with a new pot, knowing that all that coffee will not fit in that carafe. If you have done this then welcome to the club. I have a friend that did this a couple times and he threw out the automatic pot and went back to his old drip coffee maker. he said, "At least I have to take the damn thing apart each time, so I won't do that again."

Need cleaning info

Manual version: Prepare a cup of white vinegar and 4 cups of water. Pour into reservoir and initiate "clean" cycle. Boiler was warm up, shut off and repeat over the period of about a half hour, and then finally cough up all the stuff and end the cycle. Then, fill with cold water and run a full brew cycle to rinse.

My version: Dump about a quarter cup of CLR into the reservoir, let stand for a half hour. Then, add 4 cups of water and run the "clean" cycle. After finishing, unplug and turn unit over over the sink to completely drain, use tap water to clean and flush the reservoir thoroughly, dry thoroughly and then plug in, reset the clock and brew time, and run a full load of drinking water/distilled water through to final rinse. It will last forever with my method.

Ho do i clean the taming filter n my ura F9

you can not, not with out taking machine apart my mom put coffee in the top powder fill and forgot to push the powder button grinder then put more coffee in and when the piston tried to tamp the coffee in was completely clogged up error code came up , $ 250 to service I completely took unit apart I would not req. in less you are a very tech minded person nightmare of parts all working together but anyway the tamping screen is screwed to the piston and is in middle of the machine water is push from the bottom, thur coffee , thur screen , thru piston, up thur a small hose and falls down into the service head and out the two ports to cup I was able to complete remove coffee and remove screen and clean got machine back online ran cleanning program all ok if machine completely clogs and error code comes up it can not be fixed any other way if coffee comes out slow or you get a short cup of coffee you can run a cleaning program to remove the coffee stuck in the piston area the problem is caused by old coffee grounds sticking to the dosing part this part both puts coffee into the piston and take it out make a cup of coffee and look down the door on top of the machine with a flash light when the dosing door opens up and the used coffee puck is drop into the used bin , if you see used grounds on top of the dosing part then next time you make coffee it will end up mixing with new coffee after a while this can cause clogging . try to use diff. coffees some are ground to fine and most of the problems come from the powder dosing door. by the way I and my mom both have a F9 unit I have had the slow and short problems with my machine but it only happens when I use the powder dosing door good luck to all steve

Keurig B60. Brand New used maybe 4 Kcups. Now it won't fill a full cup setting. Maybe 1/4 cup. You reset, get a little more to run through. At this rate going to be a long time for a full cup. took...

if water does go thru it...try white vinagar/water mixture about 1/2 cup vinagar to full tank water..
run cycles until empty...NO Kcups..then run full tank of clean water.....

What is the best way to clean our Bunn coffee maker?

The best way to clean a machine like this out is to actually run a full empty brew of a half water half vinegar solution. This will completely clean out the lines inside the machine and freshen everything up quite a bit. After you run the full empty brew of the solution make sure you run at least 2, maybe 3 full brews of just water on the unit. This will ensure that all vinegar is flushed out of the system, and will help clean it as well. Of course the vinegar won't hurt you if it isn't flushed all the way out, just makes it taste quite funky. But 2 flushes with plain water is almost always enough to completely clean it.

Of course when I say an empty brew, don't put any grounds or coffee filter in the machine, just run the water and vinegar through the machine as if you are brewing a full put of coffee.
Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs up, it is extremely important to me. I would be forever grateful if you could do so. If you need more help on this question please just respond to my answer here and I will get right back to you.

Thanks
Tim

The coffee maker just quit midway through brewing this morning with half a resoviour of water left in it. I cleaned the screen at the bottom and determined there is no clog. Perhaps the heating element...

That has happened to me, and I ran a full 10 or 12 cups of vinegar and then 3 more times of water thru the coffee water resoviour and it took care of the problem. It is probably overdue for a cleaning.

Brews very slowly

If you ever had coffee ground spill over the top of the basket and into the water reservoir then you may have gotten grounds into the pump valve. That would cause it to pump water slowly or not at all. Before you take the machine apart to clean out the hose and pump try flushing it out. I used a turkey baster full of water and stuck the tip into the hole at the bottom of the reservoir that leads to the pump and heater. Forcefully squeeze the baster which will flush water and hopefully the coffee grounds through the pump and out into the pot.

Slow brew time / water disappears?

I have this problem with a 4 cup model. 4 cups in, 2 cups out. I cleaned it twice with vinegar (with a filter in place). The first time didn't seem to help, but the second time I got about 2.5 cups out, along with a bunch of old grounds that I think had been sucked into the pump. Ran water through it twice, and now it gets to about 3 cups.

I think the problem is just that the pump is clogged with grounds. If vinegar makes yours worse my guess is that a big piece got dislodged and is now blocking the tube. More vinegar might help.
