Alright, not sure if this will help, by my understanding is that you are saying that when you power the computer using the power supply adapter, nothing comes on? Then when you have your battery installed on, then there are lights blinking from your battery charger LED amount of times. In this case there are no promblem with your laptop and it is your power supply adapter that is damaged and will need to be replaced. It is not charging the battery. The battery is still good, but does not have enought charge to power up your system. You can find a charger on ebay for a good reasonable price compare to getting it from Hp. I hope this can help you.
One more things before assuming it is the charger, check out the charging outlet on the laptop to see if the pin is bad. If it is bad, damaged, or really loose when you plug in the adapter, then it could be this that is causing the battery not to charge and no power to the laptop.
but before i turn my pc off, i'm sure that the battery was still in 90% .. should be enough to power up my pc system.
another thing, i don't think it's the adapter problem, as if i plugged in the adapter and battery, both, it only shows green light. it blinks like what i said when i unplugged the adapter but still with battery. nothing happens when i take off the battery, but with the adapter plugged
At this point, I am not sure then if you said you have 90% left, The only thing that questions me is you mentioning that when you have the adapter pluged in and the battery out.... It doesn't turn on at all, and when you plugged the battery back in, and taken the adapter out, it would start and blink and die. This conclude that the laptop is not getting power and thus the promblem is either the battery have a low charge, powersupply charger damage, or the power jack is damaged. If it was the laptop, eitherway if you have the power supply plugged in or not, it would do the same thing. I am still 90 percent sure it is the battery that gone depleted and the charger is damaged and didn't charge the battery. Sometime with battery after a while without use, it will still drain itself or if you have it in sleep mode. Other then this, I'm not sure I can be a big help. Thanks
oh. okay. thanks. i will try to let it charge or try to replace the adapter to check. thank you.
what if i plugged the adapter and battery, it shows green light? that means?
I'm sorry at this point I am not sure, you might need to contact hp support and give them the blinking codes.
