I have trouble with my dishwasher it is not letting in any water the inlet for the water stays on all the time. it is model Zannussi Aqua pulse DE^744. the light on the 2nd row down keeps flashing not ong after i put the cycle going

If the water valve is clogged or defective, water will not flow into the dishwasher. Water inlet valves are not repairable—if the valve is defective, you must replace it. Over time, calcium deposits can build up in the water supply valve or in the small filter screen inside the water inlet valve.

inlet valve is the aqua stop long hose to tap has a solenoid at tap end that is likely your fault

There may be a filter after the aquastop pipe which is blocked. This is usually at the back of the inlet valve. Also, the inlet valve may no longer work.

the valve and wiring can be replaced you cannot remove it altogether as it wont be able to fill up, bosch aqua stops are normally powered solenoids that also double as the water inlet valve unlike most other aqua stops

looks to me like as if the direction of the hose is incorrect. Check to see if there is a direction of flow arrow on the hose and point that arrow away from the tap towards the machine.

Hi, if your dishwasher is not filling with water, check the Water-inlet Valve and Float Switch
The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. If this valve is defective, you need to completely replace it. It's usually located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side. It's the device with the main water line (usually copper) from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it.
The float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor." Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

In the water inlet hose close to the valve on your supply end,its encased in a big ( 2") plastic housing with a brass fitting.

Hope this helps.

Check for power to it during fill. If it has no power to it, check to see if float switch is stuck. Also check shut off under sink.

Aquastop on water inlet tripped. Turn off and slightly undo main inlet hose. find water inlet valve and remove thin pipe from nipple. Turn m/c on for a few seconds, turn off and replace all pipes m/c will now fill and continue

Hallo Champer, 1)Be sure water supply is arriving with enough pressure. 2)If the hose between the crane and dishwasher has an aqua-stop ( or water-stop) which you recognize at the hose being enlarged twice the size close to the crane, possibly water supply can be blocked there. You can change it temporarily with a regular hose ( for garden or car-wash ...). If dishwasher is doing the job buy a new hose with Aqua-stop in a regular electro- household appliances shop. 3) If this solution is not the good one, you might check in fact to the inlet valve, which you find at the other side of the metal plate where the watersupply is flooding inside the diswasher. Generally a white coloured threaded plastic pipe. Unplug your dishwasher, close water supply (!) and disconnect the water hose. Open the dishwasher ( either top-plate and/or back-panel). Now you see the inlet-valve ; unscrew this one and mark the position of the 2 electrical wires, which you also unplug then. Also unplug the internal water drain, and ask again a regular shop (see 2) if they can check this valve and if necessary get a spare part. Oeffti, hopefully this helps else let know.
