How do I switch on Motorola H700 wireless headset. Mine is not coming on

Is the mic boom open? That is the power switch.

Did you try deleting all devices paired and then try pairing again?

Hi, Motorola H700 Wireless Headset does not go on mute, it might be from the volume control of the Motorola H700 Wireless Headset or from the cell phone volume control.

You can use this quick guide to know how to increase and decrease the volume control.

Open the headset boom: it will flash steadily purple, it it's not paired ever. If it was paired turn that devices off; open the headset boom, blue will steadily lit; after 5 seconds, it will steadily purple lit. Now find Motorola H700 on bluetooth and type password: 0000. Done!

1.Switch on the bluetooth on your phone.
2.Open the headset boom to initiate easy pairing. After a few moments, the indicator light will be steadily lit in purple to indicate headset is in pairing mode..Motorola H700 will be detected.
3.Go to handsfree and select 'look for devices'. 4.Select Motorola H700.Select Yes to bond. Enter the passkey 0000 and select OK.

Use 0000 for the H700. If you are pairing with an Iphone, steps are as follows:

Headset is off, with mouthpiece closed
Open Iphone and select Bluetooth to ON
Hold down the center button (usually blue light) so it shows purple,
Open the mouthpiece.

The Iphone should merge.
Mine did not ask for a PIN, but if your does, it's 0000.

I think that the problem is with the on/off switch inside the headset boom. Mine has been doing the same thing lately. I'd like to find out how to fix it myself, cause I'm sure having it repaired would cost about as much as just buying a new or better headset.
