How fast it fills with water is the issue. Check the water pressure, check for a filter screen on the fill valve and clean it, check the voltage on the fill valve electric coil, if it is low then the valve might not be opening all the way.
The F7 error code(light flashes 7 times) is a one of these, Flow meter failure. Flow meter defect. Water inlet valve defect or water inlet hose blocked. So what you need to check is if the correct water level is in the tub,to check that start d/w let it fill and once you longer hear water entering, open door and the water should be level or just above the heat element, if not enough water first check water pressure to inlet valve,if pressure is good replace the water inlet valve part # 8531671 it could be picked up from your local appliance parts store,or online at; repairclinic.com searspartsdirect.com apwagner.com apdepot.com midwestapplianceparts.com
Water inlet valve is responsible for filling water in your dishwasher, when that goes bad either the dishwasher wont fill at all or will fill the water slowly. Please check the inlet screens and also try to clean the water lines for any clogs/obstructions. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
1E means - Water inlet problem >Condition : Not reached to the normal water
level in spite of 10 minute water supply
Water supply problem. The inlet hose is kinked. The water pressure is to
low (10psi) Inlet valve. The inlet water valve filter is clogged. The
hall sensor. The impeller of Air guide is bound.
Remedy : Check resistance of inlet valve ( 950-1300ohms) Clean valve.
Check pressure. Replace the Air braker.
the water inlet valve has a screen on the water line connection side.
it may look clean but most likely the residues have entered the vaslve
and is restricting how much water can enter the unit. most units need
to have the water fill to just below the heating element.
the water should just touch the element. if it does, water is fine,
then it might be a circulation problem with the water pump being
plugged, check to see if the pump is plugged.
measure the voltage to the water fill valve. it should be about 120 volts in fill mode. if it is, then the inlet screen may be plugged. turn off water and disconnect pipe. examine and or clean screen. if screen is clean (some may not have one) and it has 120 volts applied to it then you need to replace the fill valve.
Thanks for using FixYa. First of
all please check the Water temperature by using a thermometer inside the
dishwasher to measure the water temp. It should be as close to 125 degree F to
140 degree F as possible. Now try using the temperature boost feature if your
dishwasher is equipped with this cycle feature and check if this will help your
wash ability issues.
Now check the Powder soap by
making sure that you store your soap in a dry environment and it is not stale
and clumping together. Possibly try a different detergent like a liquid or gel.
Also, make sure the dishes are loaded properly, or dishwasher is not
overloaded.
To check the proper filling dishwasher will fill with water
up to and around the heating element. If water is more below the heating
element, you may have low water pressure or a problem with the fill valve. Try
& listen if it sounds like it is spraying the water around with enough
pressure.
For low water pressure, try to
clean the screen at the entrance of the fill valve, sometimes the fill valve
can fail and not allow the proper water into the dishwasher and may need to be
replaced. And, check the spray arm and pump cover for splits or leaks
Low water fills are a very common
trouble maker with today's dishwasher.

assistance.
Be aware that you should remove dishwasher's power cable before touching wires or making resistance measuring !!!
Check that the inlet valve get power. In case it does and no water
entering the tub, check with multi-meter for solenoid's resistance (disconnect first the wires to it),if no measurement result, you should replace the valve.
In case you have a measurement result, remove the solenoid from the valve and check that it's clean from any dirt.
In case there is no power to the inlet valve - check that the float switch works. This is usually a small switch attached to a float. The float (usually a cylindrical) located inside the dishwasher at the bottom. As the water level rises, the float rises too. When it reaches the certain height, the float activates its switch, which cuts the electricity to the water inlet valve. If the switch is defective (stuck in the disconnected position)it will prevent power from the inlet valve.
The switch is an On/Off switch and you can check it easily by a multi-metr.
Good luck !!
