HI. The two possible culprits will either be the door locking mechanism or the main control assembly(CCU). There is a wax motor that operates the door locking assembly. It is inside the assembly. I would start by testing that wax motor to confirm that it is indeed working. If the wax motor proves to be functional, then you will have the green light to replace the main control assembly(CCU).

Error code 43 means control board problem. Replacement is the only best solution. Part number is 1191307

Kenmore front load washer 44052
Mine issue was a loose connection. I removed the back panel and pushed in all the wires. The washer started working again. If you take off the back panel and the belt is broken then that could be your problem. Unplug the washer first.
