I can't seem to get the printer to print on the paper! I bought all new ink cartridges an still doesn't work!
Once I followed the above instructions to move print head assembly out of the way, ( don't be shy, BTW, it takes a certain amount of force to move it), I found that scraps of paper from a paper jam were bunched up underneath the print heads, soaked in expensive ink. I removed these (suggest tweezers) and cleaned it up a bit with ammonia and Q tips and voila - it works. whew
I don't know if this will help but your problem sounds like one I had with a C82 model. On the right side of the printer below where the print head rests is a small plastic suction tube. This tube can become disconnected and will prevent the printer from printing. Check to see if this is your problem. In the picture the red circle shows where the tube connects and the yellow shows the tube.

I cleaned with a Q-tip and ammonia went through a head cleaning and the ink still will not print on the paper! I'm ready to throw this thing out the window. It worked fine one day and the next it stopped printing on the paper. I have new cartridges and it just stopped. And I do print almost everyday so the ink is not dried out!
