Alba alcd15tv. Speakers have stopped working! any ideas how to fix them? Thanks

Check and see if you can hook up exterior speakers. If those also sound "vibratory" then your tvs sound card may be bad. Otherwise speakers may be blown or torn.

The headphone jack must be compatible with the TV headphone socket. Tip ring and sleeve must connect correctly. the sleeve must match the diameter of the socket. The wires or circuit board must be correctly connected, and the amplifier circuit feeding the headphone jack must be working properly. You might check the owner's manual to see if there is a programable option to activate the headphone circuits.

Try contact cleaner.

First of all if you have not made any connection changes in the system prior to loosing the sound try these steps.
Go into the system menu and in speaker configuration see if somebody has given the rear ( surround ) speakers as none. If not just exchange the front and back speakers to confirm if its a speaker failure . If not you will need professional help to fix a damaged surround amplifier.

hi had the same problem with alba 42" (l42m1) spoke to customer services at argos who suggested holding down menu button for 10 seconds then pressing menu again, which aparantly resets remote with tv. Has worked for me, hope it works for you.

you can use a switched scart to phono adaptor or if you have audio out phono sockets on your tv use them as an input to your alba sound system

Can it play other REGULAR discs?
if not - try cleaning the DVD head (there are special discs which you can buy).

try another set of speakers or heads if it doesnt work try this

hardware
device manager
?sounds,controller and other device
scan for hardware changes

This is an easy fix.
Within the xbox, goto system settings, and chnage the display output ot pal 50.
Problem solved!

im pretty sure that there is no possible way to fix those speakers but new ones will work just fine. (ive had this problem but different circumstances) Hope i helped!
