Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults, you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings.if there is a small hole in the front or back of the router push a hair pin in to reset to factory settings

Hi There,
The key to resetting this router is to use a pen or paperclip to hold the "Reset" button (it's on the back side where all the connections plug in.) Next to the power cord. What you do is hold this button in, then unplug the router at the same time; and plug it back in. Let the lights go normal; then, do it again 2 more times. This will reset the router back to it's "default" password which will be "admin" there will not be a user name. From this point, you can reset your configuration.

I am sorry, this router requires a full configuration reset to fix the lost password. You cannot retrieve it without going through this process.

you can use the reset button in ur router to get back it to factory settings.

Remove all the cables from router and press & hold reset button for 15 secs.

This will reset your router after whicg you can create a new password.

You have to be careful how and when you press the reset button.

Make sure that you have the reset button and not another one. Sometimes, there are two buttons.

Unplug the router for 15 seconds. Count or watch the clock!
Press the button (with a paper clip if necessary).
With the button pressed, plug in the router.
Keep holding the button.
Wait for 15 seconds. Once again count or watch the clock!

That should do it. If 15 seconds does not work, try 30 seconds.
Also, the lights should blink or otherwise change when the full reset happens.

I hope that works. If not, we can look at the manual. I hope this helps.

What password? Are you referring to the WEP or WPA-PSK password? If yes, I would like to inform you that no one could give you the exact WEP or WPA key. Even if you check the utility of the router.

What you need to do is to reset the router to factory default and then reconfigure the router. That's the only way that you could do in order to set a new password.

Hi there,

As an initial info try to do a hard reset on the unit, this process will restore the system into a original settings. you can find the reset switch on either on the left of right sight of your router.

or

you may visit this SITE to recover again your current password without erasing or removing the current settings made.
