most monitors made hold MEMU OSD button 10 seconds and release.

this should work for AOC monitors
turn off monitor
hold menu and power button together for 10 seconds
turn back on
osd unlocked
You need to verify first if it is the PC sound card problem (hardware or driver problem) or the amplifiers in the monitor is bad.
Try feeding the monitor audio input with the MP3 player or other sound source to see if you get the sound OK, if you do not, then the amplifiers circuits will have to be repaired which will cost too much. If you do get the sound OK then then you need to verify if the you have correct sound card driver installed or it can be hardware failure.
