The 4gb Micro SD card is not working. First I formatted it with my phone then I put it in my computer and a picture on it and safely removed it from my computer and put it back into my phone. It showed the picture was there. So I then removed it from my phone and put it back into my computer and added a bunch of pictures and music, then I safely removed it from my computer and back into my phone and everything worked. I took it back out and added one more song and safely removed it again and put it back into my phone and my phone wouldn't show anything and asked me to reformat the memory card. So I put it back into my computer and deleted everything and put it back into my phone and reformatted it and back into the computer and added a song, back into the phone the song was there and worked, then back to the computer added all kinds of stuff and it all worked, but then I took it back out and added one more thing and it stopped working again, the phone asked me to reformat. So I deleted everything and reformatted again and tried to put stuff on it and it wouldn't show anything there. I took a picture with my phone and then it saved it to there but then I deleted the picture and now it wont save anything to it and just keeps saying the memory is full and or the card needs reformatted and I can't put anything on it.

Ok the first thing to do is find out is , is it the phone or the memory card, so try another memory card. with a bit of luck it will be the card that is unstable. if its not the try updating the the firmware on your phone but do it using the pc suite that maches your phone and backup your entire phone contacts pics etc to your computer. now dowload and install the update usually the pc suite will do this for you. i hope that helps.

Sandisk micro memory chip not working in my lg620g cell phone

The LG620g works with microSD cards. Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it's electronically incompatible and will not work in this phone. You need to use microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Cannot format sd card

You are probably trying to format a micro-SD card that is greater than 2GB eg, micro-SDHC (High Capacity) of 4GB or bigger are not supported by 'older' devices. Stick to 1Gb or 2Gb standard microSD cards for your device.

Hope it helps. Let me know how you go.

When i insert my micro sd card into my phone a warning screen saying bad format error what should i do?

What phone model?
It may not supportt 4GB (micro SDHC).

If it does, then "format" the card in the phone or in a computer.

SanDisk 4GB MicroHC card says card is dirty clean or format.

do you have a SD card reader for the computer? if not, getting one is a good idea. you can try putting the card into your computer to copy your pictures into your computer before formatting. And if you get the card reader from best buy. if this doesn't work you can always return it.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

Motorola SLVR won't format my memory card.

I am not sure this will work, just a suggestion

Try inserting the micro sd card in the larger sd adapter that will allow you to put it into your computer reader. Try formatting it there instead

I ve bought a new meory micro sd 4Gb card for my

Be careful, if you use the USB cord to plug the phone up make sure that your not formatting the entire phone.

Did the Micro SD card come with the bigger card to plug it into making it a standard size SD card ? If so then you can plug that into a card reader if you have one go into MY Computer, and right click on the drive of the SD card click format.

Those are the only other ways of solving said problem if you can't do so on the phone itself. Also the phone may not accept a memory card of such size.
