I have a nespresso type D90 which does exactly the same thing so it is probably not just yours

SOURCE: water leaks from the top of the C190 Espresso Machine
in our case the problem was fixed easily: the metal piece in which the capsule sits is screwed in on the top. When it became loose our machine started to leak water from the top. So the problem was solved by retightening it!

Sounds like a gasket or seal gone or a split pipe.
If it's still under warranty - take it back for free service or replacement.
If you do have to attempt DIY, then a clear silicone sealant may save you the price of expensive gaskets.
Be very careful when taking apart - take notes or photos as it will help put it back together !
I usually put related sub-assemblies together with their screws in separate pots.

SOURCE: water not coming through nozzle of nespresso essenza
I have had this issue.
I have removed round silver plastic piece from around coffee spout,(gently -do not crack it) I then removed and washed the black spout, I even used a toothpick once, to remove the stubborn coffee ground, Once it was cleaned - it worked perfect. If you run water from the faucet into spout it should flow smoothly. I warn you though, not sure what this does to any warranty, but don't mess with my morning coffee! I hope this helps.

SOURCE: water leaks from the bottom of the machine...
There are many possible points that the leak can be. All points of the water supply from water tank to the pressure pump then to boiler and finally to coffee group. All this are connected together with plastic or Teflon pipes with easy fit unions secure with clips You need to disassemble the machine and work it without the side panels of course with extra care since power electrical cables are exposed. In this way with a very good visual check while the machine is in operation you can identify the leaking point and fix it.
