Hi to replace the drum on the machine you will need to do the following
select the tech rep mode then counter-pm-pc life press the clear key to clear the counter value
turn off the power. Open the right side door slide out the drum unit from the left and right side of the unit remove the four silve screws two at each end now seperate the top part from the bottom part the top part holds the drum and the bottom part is the developer unit and holds the developer
you can buy the top part as an assembly then reinstall the new drum to the bottom developer unit
put back the four silver screws you took out earlier and then put the unit back into the machine
You should replace the developer if you are replacing the drum at the same time
now the unit is back in the machine turn on the power select tech rep mode then function f8 and then press the start key ONLY PRESS F8 if you replace the developer
you will also need to go into tech rep mode counter pm developer press the clear key to clear the value
turn off machine wait ten seconds turn back on this resets the counter
Tech rep is normally user counter then stop 00stop 0 1 press one after the other
