Question about Toshiba Cameras

I'm having a problem with an NB 205 netbook. The battery will not charge with the AC adapter plugged in, and more annoyingly, will not use the AC power instead of the battery unless the battery is physically removed. Symptoms and specs are as follows: - Toshiba netbook NB 205-311, windows xp home SP3, 1GB ram - With the computer off and the adapter plugged in the green AC power light comes on and the yellow battery light slowly turns on and off. I left it like this overnight and the battery has gained no charge. - With the computer on when you plug in the adapter the computer recognizes the adapter for a moment, then goes back to battery, then recognizes the AC power again for a few seconds, then finally reverts to battery and stays there. Unplugging and replugging the AC adapter produces the same on/off/on/off cycle each time. - With the battery physically removed the computer works fine with the AC adapter.

My msi netbook wont turn on even though the battery charging indicator is lit.
1. Turn netebook OFF with button, hold 4 seconds.
2. Remove recharge plug
3. Remove battery
4. Leave it like this for about 5 minutes.
5. Put everything back and power the laptop again

My HP Mini Netbook will not turn on and the battery will not charge.
Perhaps your AC Adapter is bad. That is the cable that plugs into the wall and then into your laptop to charge it. Take the laptop into your local computer repair shop to see if they have a used replacement, or a Universal Laptop charger. We sell them at my store. www.ravencomputers.com. If you can't find one, go to our website and either email us or call us and let us know, we can ship anywhere in the US. If you try another AC Adapter and it still won't charge, then most likely your battery is bad. You can also try pulling the battery out and trying to turn it on with just the AC Adapter plugged in. If that works, then you know the battery is bad.

Try removing the battery and starting it up with only AC power.

Sometimes it doesn't charge properly and will turn off after a second. Removing the battery will sometimes fix this.

Make sure you are getting charge lights as well. If the AC adapter isn't working anymore, it can cause exactly what you're experiencing.

I bot a hp mini laptop recently.. ws working well..bt sddnly it ws nt chrgng ystrday and showed cross sign over battery in control panel.. why is it nt chrgn and wht to do?
If the laptop is still working when it is plugged in , then the ac adapter is good and the battery is just bad. If the laptop will not work when it is plugged in then more than likely the ac adapter is bad.

My hp pavillion was no power, please give an advise.
There could be a problem with the battery. A fast check to determine whether you have a problem with the power adapter, power cord or the laptop's battery is to turn off the laptop, remove the battery, connect the power adapter, turn on the laptop & see if it works.
If the laptop works directly from the power adapter with the battery removed, then the power adapter is good. In this case we can suspect that the battery is defective & needs to be replaced.
To verify this, unplug your laptop & try to run it on battery only. Watch out how long it will stay on (if at all). If it didn't work on battery alone, or worked but for a very short time, then your battery is defective.
