I do not know anything about this but from a manual I have seen its tied in with Timer and Sleep functions there are a lot of instruction manuals ou on the web but you description is to generic you need a model number of which there are a lot.

First of all check your timer setting. Secondly, check your indoor coil sensor, may be weak, replace it. Please clear one doubt that is your compressor working within that 5 minutes?
TOYO mini split air conditioner made in Japan is very very good quality and it can runs for 20 years without any problem. You didn't hire a best ac technician to install your TOYO unit. The tubing connection between indoor unit and outdoor unit is not the right torque and refrigerant leak. Your TOYO unit runs out of refrigerant. You need fix the leak and fully charge the system. You will solve the problem. Good luck!
