Mechanic put bars stop leak in my 1999 grand am se and it is running hot and wany hold coolant

Gm used the Barrs stop leak right from the factory to seal up new blocks. It was the kind made from walnut shells not the metal sealant. He may have used too much if you are overheating. I would do a good flush and go get the bars stop leak in the tablet form, follow directions and see if that helps. I had a persistent leak from my lower intake manifold, already replaced it once, put some Barrs in and now have zero leakage, no overheating either. I would have re-replaced the manifold's gasket but the car is just a beater. Now this stuff is a bandaid not a repair. So if you push the car hard the leak will reemerge.

I have a Grundig radio S350DL and I cannot switch off the sleep function and therefore the radio automatically switches off after 30 mins. or so . Can you advise? Les. Akers

The Power and Sleep Functions share the same button. If you press the Power/Sleep button repeatedly you see numbers displayed 90, 75 60, ... 01. These are the duration of the sleep functions. If you stop at 60 the radio will work for 60 minutes then turns itself off. This must be a battery saving feature so that a radio will not be on for ever. Suppose the radio has been on for a while (long or short) and you want to turn it off without waiting for the sleep timer. Just press the Power/Sleep button.

Sorry, you must get up each time and press scan button!

...or you can tell the copier under user mode - machine sett. - that you want scan as first function. That the machine will allways on scaner function. But when you want to copy or fax you will need to get up and transfer to wanted function, but scaner will be allways on :-)

I purchased a phone but its blocked, the phone not the sim how can i unblock it

If it is blocked it means that it has been barrred by the networks due to being reported lost/stolen and therefore it can not be unblocked,so can not be used to make or receive calls allow some of the other functions may still work on it,camera etc

If it 'locked' rather than 'blocked' that is entirely a different matter and it can be unlocked

Keyboard

Do you have a function key on your keyboard as this may have been pressed and therefore accessing shortcuts on your keyboard. The function key normally looks like this

Fn

Not sure but this may be your issue. Some function keys need to be held down and others will go on when pressed and stay on until they are pressed again.

Let me know if this helped

VW Passsat - 98 -

ABS and coolant are unrelated unless there is a problem with the ECM (engine control module) or instrument panel. Is the red coolant warning sign for coolant level or temperature?

With ABS if there is any failure with any brake electronic component (sensor, motor, or fluid level etc) the ABS will shut down completely and flash the light. If the light is on or flashing the ABS is non functioning.

I need better information on the coolant and ABS to give better information.
