All you have to do is to copy all the files from your camcorder and then save to your documents. Download video converter to the website. Google it and type it there .TOD convert to MPEG4.
Had to Download wondershare video converter and make my .moi files Quicktime friendy and into .mov files. Finally works and Got all my videos on my MAC now.
Are you playing the video back through the camcorders utility ? Sometimes by clicking on the file through windows explorer you will get the picture but no sound, this happens for the Sony camcorder but is fixed by running the playback through the motion picture browser application supplied with the camcorder.
Hi .Just click on Menu-button, then with joy-stick (on left side of cam-monitor)go up tu "Rec Media for Video"...then you push joy-stik to the right...and then you see 2 lines media types -HDD and SD....again with joy-stick you push to up side (where is HDD )...and then again push joy-stick to center( to select the recording media type)...and your cam is ready to rec on HDD
it seems a lot of people are having the same problem. i even took my jvc back and got a sony and still no play in media player. i have been up trying to fix this for about 18 hours i am going to bed.
